Alex Szabo-Pardi
Alex Szabo-Pardi is originally from Romania where he started swimming in 1970. He won the national title in the 50, 100, and 200 breaststroke, several times in 200 IM and broke more than 300 National records in these events. He participated in two European Championships, (Geneva, Oslo) Europe Cup and many more International meetings. In 1986 graduated from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports in Bucharest whit major in Physical Therapy, and minor in Swimming. He coached Age group swimming in Cluj-Napoca, Romania and worked full time physical therapist. In 1990 he moved to Plano, Texas and has worked 13 years at Physiotherapy Assistant.
Dallas Aquatic Masters[edit]
DAM or the Dallas Aquatic Masters is one of the largest masters swimming teams in the world. Co-founded and co-owned by Bobby Patten and Olympic champion Jim Montgomery, it is a year-round adult swimming team geared towards swimming in the pool and open bodies of water for fitness, fun and competition. DAM offers expertly designed adult group swim programs and adult private lessons to suit the needs of adults of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
