Albert Zaripov is a 25-year-old open water swimmer from Kazan, Russia who completed the 2017 25 km Kotlin Race in St. Petersburg, Russia. He swam from St. Petersburg in the Gulf of Finland and finished in the port city of Kronstadt on Kotlin Island on 28 June 2017 in 8 hours 41 minutes 54 seconds in a relay with Victoria Vasilyeva.
